One Step Closer
If you look up some pictures of Trump speaking at a rally in Moon Township, PA. Take a moment to notice the signs held by the women behind Trump. They said, “Make America Strong Again”. So instead of MAGA we have MASA. Pronouncing that out loud, you have “massah”. Which says it all about Trump and his Trumpettes. In fact, it is the core of racism that creates Trump’s core voters. At this rally, Trump bragged that 52% of women voted for him. That is true if you include the fact it was 52% of white Republican women.
Today, Xi Jinping, the leader of China pushed a change in their constitution the removes any limit to how long he can rule. Basically anointing himself supreme ruler for the rest of his life. Yesterday, President Trump reiterated his desire to put drug dealers to death. He said he got the idea from his good buddy Xi, but I think it was more likely that it started with Rodrigo Duterte, leader of the Philippines. The White House describes their relationship as a “warm rapport”. Trump himself said, “thank you, and you were fantastic”. Duterte’s police force has reported 3,900 deaths. Newsweek reports that in one year he has killed 7,000. Duterte brags that he’ll kill another 20,000 to 30,000. Trumps best bud, Vladamir Putin, first extended the term of the President from four to six years. He served two terms, and according to the Russian constitution, he should not be able to run for a third. But in 2018 he will be up for election again. Wouldn’t it be surprising if he won? Since he jailed his primary critic and opponent for five years, I think it will increase his chances. They can’t even chant, “Lock him up” because he has already done so.
Although Trump says that it was the French Bastille Day parade that made him want one, it may just be an extension of his, “Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his and my Button works!” Or it could be that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. China and Russia put on some real humdingers of military parades. At this point, it has been announced that Trump will get his parade down Pennsylvania Avenue on Veteran’s Day. If he really wants to do something for the Veterans, even the most conservative estimate of the cost for the parade would feed every homeless veteran in America for at least two weeks. He recently defunded meals on wheels. This parade would provide meals for over 3,6oo seniors for an entire year. This parade is undoubtedly to honor Donald J. Trump. I doubt he will be marching in it due to his debilitating bone spurs.
Okay, the point I am trying to make is that Trump truly admires these dictators and authoritarian regimes that alter the laws so that they can rule for the rest of their lives. He calls the press the “the enemy of the American people”. His authoritarian buddies control the press and what they say. Fox News, once a reputable organization has become a mouthpiece for President Trump. You might as well say it is State TV. If you kill off the drug dealers, it would reduce the population by somewhere between a million and ten million. Probably a large percentage of them being black or Hispanic. Deport a few million more Mexicans, and he is well on his way to restoring a majority of white voters, which is his “Great America, or Strong America.” You say it couldn’t happen here. Wake up, it is happening here and the Congress that is supposed to keep him in check is rubber stamping every one of his stupid ideas since the Republicans control them. With his Supreme Court nominee already confirmed, the Republican conservatives now have a majority. If we do not vote out the spineless Republicans in 2018, we are one step closer.
