The Resistance
It sounds like we are referring to World War II and the French Resistance against the Nazis. Maybe that is truer than we would like it to be. It seems that the President protects violent people wearing swastikas as much or more so than those who peacefully protest against him. A little more than half of the people in the United States are women, as a group they staged the largest single-day protest in U.S. history, with over a million protesters in cities across the country. The Women’s March had nearly half a million in Washington D.C. alone. Trump loves to talk about the size of his crowds, but I have never heard him brag about his biggest crowd, where the numbers were true.
You have to give credit to those wealthy who stand against Trump. At the top of that list is billionaire Tom Steyer, who is spending over ten million to try to get Donald J. Trump impeached. At the time of this blog post, he has collected over four million signatures to that end. I was an early signer, and if you just Google his name and I am sure you can find it. It should be noted that on November 12, 2017, over 400 millionaires told Congress, “Don’t cut our taxes.” Some other notable rich people to stand against him are Ben & Jerry (the ice cream guys),
